Over 70 would-be apprentices visited Wolverhampton College last week to find out more about opportunities with Staffordshire Property Care.
The visitors, aged from 16 to 35, were able to find out more about current vacancies, meet working apprentices, and talk to Property Care staff and College tutors. They also took a tour of the college’s new construction centre.
Staffordshire Property Care, part of Housing Plus, has a long tradition of offering apprenticeships and has retained its former apprentices, who are now working on responsive repairs and refurbishment projects.
Managing Director Ralph Middlemore said: “We are really pleased that the open day attracted so many people. Our Apprenticeship Scheme allows us to grow our own workforce and talent. The up-to-the-minute skills, energy and new ideas they bring to the business help us to deliver continuous service improvements to our customers.”
