Mobile Caretaking

Our Mobile Caretaking Service currently serves the 5300 homes of South Staffordshire Housing Association. Its strength lies in its fully trained, professional and polite team. Our customers are assured of polite, attentive, considerate treatment and efficient, effective high quality caretaking a very competitive price.

 

Our service

Caretaking services will be carried out according to the agreed contract. We recommend a minimum of:

  • Clean all communal areas, inside and out.
  • Identify repairs needed to communal and external areas and report back as appropriate.
  • Removal of bulky rubbish to a safe collection point.
  • Health & safety checks of all areas, including lifts and bin areas.
  • Detailed inspection of all blocks on a quarterly basis, with the client.
  • Weekly inspections undertaken by a supervisor.
  •  A target for Customer Satisfaction of 95%.

 

Our standard

  • Caretakers will be clearly identifiable through uniforms and name badges.
  • Caretaking staff will be polite and respectful to all customers at all times and have been trained in diversity issues.
  • Caretaking staff will be available to speak to customers at advertised times on the basis agreed in the contract.
  • The times that cleaning was last carried out will be displayed as as the time it is next due.
  • Residents who are not satisfied with the service can contact the Mobile Caretaking Service direct to discuss any issues.
  • If a resident is still not satisfied they can formally complain through our own complaints procedure, as well as through the contract-holder.
  • The caretaking supervisor will attend Residents’ meetings if required.
